Alaska Airlines will pay tribute to retirees who worked for the airline
when it called Paine Field home at a special edition of the monthly
gathering of retirees. It is slated for May 20 in Everett.
Like other get-togethers, this one will be held at the Cookbook
Restaurant (1216 Broadway).
Paine Field was home to Alaska
Airlines for many years
“We assemble at noon, exchange greetings and war stories, and then eat,”
says Walt Turner, who retired in 1997.
