Commute Trip Reduction (CTR)
Overview

Alaska Airlines is committed to helping with commuting and clean air
initiatives and regulations throughout the company in compliance
with state and federal laws and regulations.
To support these initiatives and regulations, Alaska Airlines
offers Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) programs in Seattle and Phoenix
to assist employees with alternative commute modes. The programs
vary by location and may include transit passes or other subsidies.
Alaska Airlines also encourages telecommuting and
alternate work schedules where possible and supports local
efforts to reduce single car occupancy.

Alaska Airlines is committed to helping with the CTR program for the
state of Washington.
Alaska Airlines offers part and full-time employees who are based in
Seattle and commute to and from their Seattle work site 3-5 days per
week the opportunity to
participate in the 2010 ORCA Passport program.
The ORCA Passport program is an annual contract and is valid
February 1, 2010 through December 31,2010.
The ORCA Passport card covers
the full fare on regularly scheduled bus and train transportation
services offered by Everett Transit, Community Transit, Kitsap
Transit, Metro Transit, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit.
The ORCA Pasport also covers King County Water Taxi From
Vashon or West Seattle to Downtown Seattle) and Kitsap Transit Foot
Ferry Services.
Portland TriMet Passport Program
Effective 9/1/09, Alaska Airlines employees were no longer qualified
to participate in the TriMet annual pass program due to not meeting
the TriMet requirements for qualified employee counts.
The Horizon Air employees are eligible to participate.

Alaska
participates in the Maricopa County Trip Reduction Ordinance seeking
to reduce traffic impacts on air pollution and emissions within the
County. Employees can qualify for free bus passes or employees that
carpool may qualify for Chevron gas gift cards. For more information
